We’re All Born with the Right to be Angry is an agitated rifle through the messes and mazes of growing up female by way of midwestern niceties and loud silences. This is storytelling in bursts, a catalog with the characteristic distillations and arrests of space and breath. The text is moving with the anxiety and catharsis through senile aunt figures and fumbling teenage coming of age in the back of a car parked in the graveyard. The scenes are yours and mine as much as they are Tadeyeske’s; we are tenderly led through the dark and bright blinding shine of it all.
